Registration locked to e-mail address

As I've just reinstalled on a new computer, I had to put my registration code in again. As I recall it, I had to use the original e-mail address from when I registered. Given that e-mail addresses can be dropped and new ones added, is it possible to remove that restriction, without causing you any piracy problems?

Sorry for the late reply, the forum software I use seems to have stopped sending me emails regarding posts so I've been slow responding to posts. Unfortunately when I devised the protection scheme I thought emails would be a fairly static entity, but these days that is not necessarily, but the registration code is based on your name and email so unless I send out new codes and change the scheme, its not something easily rectified, but I will keep that in mind and try to do something about for the future. It really is just information which is part of the registration number, which is really the only way its used at the moment.
