Attaching to a window

Am I right in thinking that MN needs the full window title to attach to? I'd like it to accept wildcards, so I can make a note pop up over all child windows of a web site, say, and regardless of what browser I'm viewing it with..

More on that: suppose I make a note to attach to Donation Coder's top-level forum, with window title "DonationCoder.com Forum - Index - Mozilla Firefox"
That seems to work correctly, but, it doesn't seem to always work on any individual threads under the main forum. Conversely, if I make another note and truncate the window title to "DonationCoder.com Forum," that note seems to stay permanently on screen, regardless of what applications I have open. That certainly should not happen.

Please can MN be made more specific - both to allow child windows, and not to appear over unintended ones?
